Visa Information

International participants are advised to check the latest Indonesian immigration requirements well in advance of their travel. Visa requirements vary depending on nationality, purpose of visit, and length of stay.

Some foreign nationals may be eligible for Visa-Free Entry, while others may apply for a Visa on Arrival (VoA) or Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VoA). Participants who are not eligible for these facilities may need to obtain an appropriate Indonesian visa before departure.

Visa on Arrival (VoA) and Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VoA)

Eligible foreign nationals may obtain a Visa on Arrival (VoA) upon arrival at designated immigration checkpoints in Indonesia or apply for an Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VoA) before travelling.

For conference participants, the B1 Visa on Arrival may be used for activities including tourism, family visits, meetings, conventions, exhibitions, and similar events.

The current provisions include:

• An initial stay of up to 30 days from the date of arrival.

• The stay may be extended once for an additional 30 days, allowing a maximum stay of 60 days.

• The current VoA fee is IDR 500,000.

• e-VoA holders may apply for an extension online through the official Indonesian e-Visa portal.

• Holders of a non-electronic VoA may apply for an extension through the relevant Indonesian Immigration Office.

General Requirements

Applicants for a Visa on Arrival or e-VoA are generally required to have:

• A passport valid for at least six months from the date of entry into Indonesia;

• A return ticket or onward ticket to another country; and

• Other supporting documents that may be required by Indonesian Immigration.

Visa regulations, eligible nationalities, entry points, fees, and immigration procedures may change. Participants are therefore strongly advised to verify the latest requirements before making travel arrangements.
