PARALLEL SESSION PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

To ensure a smooth, efficient, and engaging presentation experience during the parallel sessions, all presenters are kindly requested to review and adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Schedule and Duration
    • Total Session Duration: 90 minutes per room (consisting of 4 presenters per session).
    • Presentation Time: Each presenter is allocated 10-15 minutes for presentation.
    • Q&A Session: A 20–30 minute joint Q&A session will be conducted by the Room Moderator after all presentations in the session are completed.
    • Presenters are required to stay in the room for the entire duration of the session.
  2. Format and Platform
    • Hybrid Format:
      • On-site Presenters: Present live in the designated room at Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Indonesia.
      • Online Presenters: Join via the official Zoom link provided prior to the conference date.
    • Name Format (Zoom for Online Presenters): Please rename yourself upon joining: [Room Number]_[Paper ID]_[Full Name] (e.g., Room1_102_Ghina Mahdiyah Ramdhani).
  3. Slide Preparation and Submission

    Official Presentation Template:
    All presenters are expected to use the official ICOLAIS 2026 presentation template provided by the Organizing Committee to ensure consistency across all parallel sessions.

    The template is available in two formats:

    Presenters may choose either format based on their preference. When using the Canva template, please create your own copy before editing and make sure the final presentation retains the official ICOLAIS 2026 visual identity and slide structure.

    Slide Format: Presentations must use a 16:9 widescreen format and may be submitted in Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx) or PDF format.

    Language: Presentation slides and oral presentations must be delivered in English.

    Recommended Content Structure:

    • Title, Authors, and Affiliations
    • Background & Research Objectives
    • Methodology
    • Key Findings & Discussion
    • Conclusion & Implication/Contribution

    Slide Submission:
    Presenters must submit their final presentation slides via the provided submission link or email to [committee email address] no later than 16 October 2026.

  4. Technical Instructions & Conduct
    • Reporting Time: Presenters must be present in their respective physical rooms or Zoom breakout rooms at least 10 minutes before the session starts.
    • Equipment (On-site): Each parallel room is equipped with a laptop, projector, sound system, and internet connection. Presenters are requested to use the room laptop provided.
    • Microphone and Video (Online): Online presenters should ensure a stable internet connection, a clear microphone, and keep their camera turned ON during their presentation.
    • Timekeeper: A timekeeper/moderator will notify presenters when 2 minutes remain and when the time is up. Please strictly observe the time limit to ensure fairness to other presenters.
